‘Colors this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves’ or at least this is what Leatrice Eiseman Executive Director from the Pantone Color Institute said about the major colours of 2016. There is no doubt that most designers synced in and transformed their catwalks and collections with happy colours and vibes.
When choosing this year’s favorites, Pantone decided to go for colors that can transcend genders, ages and status. They can take you away from technology and emerge the people and cities into a perfect balance with the nature and the environment. Surely, unisex colors can be a bold statement in some circumstances, but in a world where differences are often frown upon, a state of equality can be a relief, a sought after tranquillity.
On the warm colors palette you can find four wonderful choices: Rose Quartz, Peach Echo, Fiesta and Buttercup.
Rose Quartz
is leading the way with its calming effect and perfect equilibrium between a nude and color. It can fit any skin tone and can be worn with either a bright electric color or with other nudes.
