Experts from Pantone Color Institute have chosen the main fashion color of 2014 and the most trendy colors for coming Spring.

“This season, consumers are looking for a state of thoughtful, emotional and artistic equilibrium,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “While this need for stability is reflected in the composition of the palette, the inherent versatility of the individual colors allows for experimentation with new looks and color combinations.”

The main color of 2014: Radiant Orchid

It’s soft and radiant at the same time. And depending on the combination with other colors can be perceived as soft or bright and rich tone. And, of course, it plays nicely with other season’s colors.

Dazzling Blue

There are lots of soft pastel colors this spring and Dazzling bright Blue color stands out the most from this palette.

Celosia Orange

Warm deep orange color that reminds you of summer evenings… Can be perfectly paired for an eye-catching combination with Violet Tulip or other pastel tones of this spring.

Cayenne

Another summer shade, a spicy and hot pastel red. Mix it with lemon yellow Freesia to illuminate everything around you!

Freesia

Bright color with a tasty summer scent. It can refresh any outfit, and goes excellent with Celosia Orange for a tropical, floral feel.

Sand

Light and delicate neutral color. When paired with pastel tones brings natural and balanced look.

Paloma

Light neutral gray, works as well as a previous Sand color. But gets you a more cold and classic feel. You can combine it with any color at all to get interesting and solid mix.

Hemlock

Ornamental green, first soft pastel. And it is very different from popular in the last season greens. It is a more natural grass tone, that, like all pastels, works great in many combinations.

    Placid Blue

Tranquil and delicate baby blue color. Another pastel color for this spring. It is a soft pastel opposite to Dazzling Blue color. Take it in your color mix to add fresh and calm feel.

      Violet Tulip

Final pastel color, a soft, dreamy counterpart to the year’s Radiant Orchid color. Romantic, vintage purple tone that evokes memories.
